Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jdima Dima (ranked 4773 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ra S Al Ghul (ranked 4751 p4p, 419 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dima gets caught napping as Al Ghul dives in and scores a takedown. Dima manages to retain guard.
Al Ghul's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Dima preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Dima controls Al Ghul momentarily but Al Ghul frees himself.
Al Ghul wanted to stand there but Dima had control of the position.
Dima will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Dima had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Al Ghul defends it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Al Ghul would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Al Ghul is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Dima has a closed guard, preventing Al Ghul from standing up.
Al Ghul distracts Dima with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Al Ghul slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dima has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Al Ghul is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Dima.

Al Ghul is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dima knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Let's hope that Al Ghul has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Al Ghul drops an elbow to the side of Dima's head.

Al Ghul takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Dima shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Al Ghul has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Al Ghul throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Dima was covering up waiting for the punch and Al Ghul finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Dima wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Al Ghul manages to pass to side control.

Dima has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Al Ghul is working away from the top position though.

Al Ghul is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dima is just riding it out for now. Al Ghul eventually gives up the hold.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Al Ghul has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Dima is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Al Ghul yanks on the arm and Dima is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Al Ghul.
