The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Triggs looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Maximus Jr is fending him off so far but Triggs persists. Nope, Maximus Jr circles away and we're back to standing.
Maximus Jr misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Maximus Jr attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Triggs tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Maximus Jr swivels and escapes.
Triggs moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Maximus Jr will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Maximus Jr throws a front kick that sends Triggs stumbling back into the cage.

Triggs goes for a double leg but Maximus Jr avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Maximus Jr continues to drive forward.

Triggs with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Maximus Jr to score with a decent uppercut.

Triggs chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Maximus Jr can pounce on him.

Maximus Jr lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Triggs dives in and grabs Maximus Jr's left leg, looking for a takedown. Maximus Jr pushes down on Triggs's head and hops out.
