Gerrard goes for a takedown in the clinch but Silvey prevents it.
Gerrard tries for a takedown but Silvey manages to get underhooks.
Silvey has picked Gerrard up - he's going for a ride! Silvey dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Silvey tries to stand and escape but Gerrard is controlling the position.
Silvey gets to his feet but Gerrard grabs hold of a leg and swivels beautifully into a kneebar. Silvey falls to the floor but he can't defend the quick submission attempt and has to tap quickly to save his knee ligaments! Very nice work from Gerrard!
