Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Adam Street (ranked 5153 p4p, 0 weight class) and Farl Tas (ranked 5036 p4p, 502 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Adam Street!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Farl Tas!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, John Kavanagh and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Street dives in for a single leg takedown but Tas sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Street misses with the combination.
Tas throws a counter combo.
Tas looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Street is fending him off so far but Tas persists. Nope, Street circles away and we're back to standing.
Nice sprawl there from Street as Tas shoots in.
Tas shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Street sprawls well. Street wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tas gets slowly back to his feet.
Adam Street has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Farl Tas.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tas is looking to stand up but Street isn't so interested in that idea.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Adam Street seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Street fails to land with a series of punches.
Tas steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Street.

Tas looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Street is fending him off so far but Tas persists. Nope, Street circles away and we're back to standing.

Tas fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Street lands an elbow inside.
Tas avoiding damage as Street throws knees to the body.

Tas turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Tas manages to end up in side control.
Street takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Street might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Street can't do much from the bottom here.
Street is trying to buck Tas off.
A control attempt from Street but he's now mounted!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Street is in all sorts of trouble here.
Street is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.
Street has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Tas blocks Street's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Street is breathing heavily.
Tas controlling well, preventing Street from escaping the position.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Street shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tas sprawls well. Tas wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Street gets slowly back to his feet.

Tas throws a sloppy head kick and Street moves out of range easily.

Tas slaps away a takedown attempt from Street, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Tas is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

As Street backs off Tas throws a huge counter combo but Street manages to avoid it all.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Tas.

Street throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Tas advances to full mount.

Tas is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Street is surviving well by controlling Tas's body position as best he can.

Tas goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Street turns into him and now he's in Tas's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tas lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Street is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Tas is aware though and is defending well.
Street throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Tas is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Tas stands and throws Street's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Tas working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Street has his takedown stuffed
and Tas counters with a two punch combo.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Farl Tas showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

A quick step to the side and Street tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Tas lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Tas slips a nice elbow through Street's hands, connecting with Street's forehead.
Street on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Farl Tas has got the better of the ground game so far.
Well, if Tas is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Street is trying to stand.

Tas is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Street defends it well.
Tas blocks the strikes from Street.

Tas uses his free foot to push down on Street's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Street.

Tas stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.

Tas shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Street is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Tas dives into side control.


Tas tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tas has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

I've got Tas winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
