The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thane looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Thane stops Rey from standing up.
Thane wants to stand and escape but instead Rey has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Rey postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Rey bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Thane tries to buck Rey off but Rey is having none of it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rey lands a left and a right that sends Thane crashing to the canvas! Rey dives into mount looking to finish!
