Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jackie Vergys (ranked 4021 p4p, 199 weight class) and Waampa Woodoo (ranked 25342 p4p, 306 weight class). Waampa Woodoo will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jackie Vergys!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Waampa Woodoo!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Leandro Rodrigues and Luis Engracia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woodoo throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Vergys counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Woodoo tries to kick Vergys off in order to stand up. Vergys Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Vergys scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Woodoo to see if he's OK.
Woodoo tries to escape but Vergys is in control.
Woodoo is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Vergys is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Woodoo knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Vergys thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Woodoo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vergys. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Vergys is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Woodoo is trying to escape and Vergys transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Woodoo is forced to tap! Nice work there by Vergys! Very nice indeed!
