The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McSteamy tries to close the distance and clinch but White swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
McSteamy tries to score with a low kick but White moves his leg out of the way.
White closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - White lands in his opponent's guard.
White throwing strikes but missing.
White wants to control from the top but McSteamy keeps moving.
White working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
McSteamy being controlled here, momentarily.
White is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

White has gone for a leg lock! McSteamy slips out almost immediately though and dives into White's guard.
White throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
White is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! McSteamy has his hands clasped together but White extends an breaks McSteamy's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by White.
