The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perry keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Lesnar keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

It looks like Jason Perry has been cut.
Lesnar misses with an uppercut.
Lesnar just misses with a punch to the body.
Lesnar slaps away a takedown attempt from Perry, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Brock Lesnar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Perry slips under a jab from Lesnar.
Perry shoots in looking for a takedown. Lesnar tries to sprawl out of it but Perry keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lesnar manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Perry drops his hands momentarily. Lesnar doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Perry staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Perry doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
