Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lanus shoots in and drives through. Rain sprawls well.
Lanus looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Rain avoids a kick to the body.
Rain gets the takedown into side control.
Rain sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Lanus is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Lanus is trying to get back to half guard.
Rain goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Lanus has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Rain but great work by Lanus.
Rain manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Rain wants to take a breather but Lanus is having none of it.
Rain is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Lanus avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Rain.
Lanus is looking for a sweep. Rain is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Rain is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lanus is just riding it out for now. Rain eventually gives up the hold.

Lanus is looking to control Rain's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lanus avoid being mounted?
Rain wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lanus keeps working.
Lanus knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rain on the ground.
Lanus tries to roll over but Rain keeps him under control.
Rain seems to be working for a kimura but Lanus defends the submission attempt.
Rain is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Lanus doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Rain.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Rain is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lanus is just riding it out for now. Rain eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Rain looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Rain is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Lanus sees it coming and defends easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rain misses with a head shot. Lanus uses the momentum to regain guard.
Rain sitting in guard here, content to control.
Lanus is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Rain looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Lanus wants to stand up but Rain has a hold of him and won't allow it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Rain has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Lanus. Oh but Rain has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Lanus goes limp - he's gone! Rain jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
