Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sugar Shane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manuel SERVIC (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sugar Shane could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Manuel SERVIC's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good work by Shane as he checks the leg kick.
Shane looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Shane misses with a takedown attempt - SERVIC sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

SERVIC clinches up with Shane and pushes him back against the cage.

SERVIC kicks Shane off and gets to his feet.
SERVIC lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

SERVIC has closed the distance and engaged Shane in a clinch.

Shane fails to pull guard.

SERVIC is trying to trip Shane. He has hold of a leg but Shane is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. SERVIC persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
SERVIC is looking to stand up but Shane won't let him.

Shane working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. SERVIC doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. SERVIC manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

SERVIC wanted to stand there but Shane had control of the position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
SERVIC is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Shane isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. SERVIC stacks Shane on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by SERVIC!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Shane can't do much from the bottom here.

SERVIC stands up.
Shane fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sugar Shane. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Shane shoots for a takedown but SERVIC saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
SERVIC throws a head kick but Shane moves out of range.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Shane changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. SERVIC tries to avoid it but Shane manages to keep hold of a leg and drag SERVIC to the ground. SERVIC escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Nice takedown defense from SERVIC. No joy for Shane on that attempt.
Shane moves out of range of the body kick.
SERVIC looks for a takedown but Shane sprawls well.
SERVIC throws a right and a left that Shane avoids nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Shane moves in looking to clinch but SERVIC pushes him off.
Shane keeps the fight on the outside.

SERVIC rushes Shane and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

SERVIC jumps into guard, dragging Shane to the mat.

SERVIC is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Shane tries to stall but SERVIC uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

SERVIC's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
SERVIC misses with a wild combination.
Shane throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around SERVIC's waist but SERVIC gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Shane off to one side.
SERVIC lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Shane has his foot on SERVIC's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. SERVIC works his way back into a safe position though.

SERVIC throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Shane shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with SERVIC but SERVIC pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Shane could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Shane avoids the head kick by SERVIC.

and SERVIC counters with a nice low kick that buckles Shane's knee momentarily.
Shane moves in looking to clinch but SERVIC pushes him off.
SERVIC wants to clinch up but Shane keeps it at a distance.

SERVIC has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Shane is trying to keep an underhook but SERVIC manages to get the takedown into half guard.
It looks like SERVIC is going to stand back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

SERVIC misses with a few strikes there.
SERVIC misses with a series of wild punches.
SERVIC fails in his attempt to clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Shane looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Shane can't find room to land a body shot as SERVIC controls the action.

SERVIC pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Shane shoots in and drives through. SERVIC sprawls well.
SERVIC takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
SERVIC moves in looking to clinch but Shane pushes him off.
Manuel SERVIC seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shane fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Manuel SERVIC showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Shane digs a right hand underneath SERVIC's ribcage. SERVIC let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Shane jumps guard but SERVIC stands there with Shane around his waist. Shane gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
SERVIC wants to stand but Shane is controlling the position.
Shane wants to control from the top but SERVIC keeps moving.

Shane prevents SERVIC from getting back to his feet.

SERVIC has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Shane off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Shane changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. SERVIC tries to avoid it but Shane manages to keep hold of a leg and drag SERVIC to the ground. SERVIC escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Shane gets control of SERVIC's arms and successfully pulls guard. Shane will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

SERVIC decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Sugar Shane has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Shane is pressing down on SERVIC's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
SERVIC wants to stand but Shane has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Shane is trying to control the position but SERVIC postures up.

SERVIC gets to his feet - Shane follows without any prompting.
Shane fails to land the takedown.
Shane looks for a takedown but SERVIC sprawls well.

SERVIC rushes Shane and presses him up against the cage.

SERVIC keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

SERVIC misses with a head kick.
Horrible takedown by Shane or perhaps it was just good defense by SERVIC which made him look bad.

SERVIC drives through and clinches with Shane against the cage.

Shane shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with SERVIC but SERVIC pushes him off and we're back to square one.

and Shane counters with a three punch combo that has SERVIC backing up. SERVIC nods at Shane to acknowledge the strikes.
Shane swats away the attempt to clinch by SERVIC.

Shane closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Shane is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. SERVIC doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Shane.

SERVIC manages to escape and get back to his feet!

and SERVIC counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
SERVIC wants to stand but Shane has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Well SERVIC has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
