Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marshall Marshall (ranked 2446 p4p, 251 weight class) and Lex Luthor (ranked 3697 p4p, 361 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luthor goes for a double leg but Marshall avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Marshall continues to drive forward.
Marshall stuffs the takedown.
Marshall throws an overhand right that lands on Luthor's shoulder, as Luthor tries to avoid the shot.

That was a close second round but I would say that Marshall Marshall will probably get the nod.

Marshall is not content to let Luthor control the position.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Luthor working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Marshall is staying active underneath Luthor, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

I think Luthor has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
