Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Scott Motum (ranked 4728 p4p, 4835 weight class) and Jamal Tump (ranked 0 p4p, 235 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Scott Motum!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jamal Tump!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Colin Fotheringham and William Gold.





The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Motum tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tump sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Motum somewhat.
Motum looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tump is fending him off so far but Motum persists. Nope, Tump circles away and we're back to standing.
Tump looks to land a left hand but Motum moved out of range nicely.
Motum moves out of range of the strikes.
Tump's corner calls for a 1-2. Tump obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Tump stuffs the takedown.
Despite the aggression on Tump's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Scott Motum. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Horrible takedown attempt by Motum or perhaps it was just good defense by Tump, which made it look bad.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Motum throws a low kick, looking for Tump's leg but Tump calmly moves out of range.
Motum ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Motum tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tump was well out of range. Poor timing from Motum.
Tump is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Motum gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Tump is trying to break the clinch but Motum has him pressed against the cage.
Tump is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Tump wants to get back to striking at distance but Motum won't allow it.
Motum manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Motum is on top in guard.

Motum is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Tump doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Motum.

Motum looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Motum seems to be looking for submissions.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Motum stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Tump to get to his feet.

Motum throws the kick towards the body but Tump avoids it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Tump! But no joy.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Tump lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Motum has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Motum and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Tump swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Tump slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Tump is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Motum goes for a takedown attempt but Tump pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Motum shoots in but Tump avoids the takedown attempt easily.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Tump! But no joy.
Tump swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Motum attempts a counter takedown but Tump avoids it well and moves away.
Tump lands a jab-cross combination.
Motum shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tump as he jumps to the side.

Motum tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tump defends well and Motum ends up having to push Tump into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

and Motum counters with a series of strikes. Tump will be more careful next time no doubt.
Scott Motum seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Tump looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Motum successfully pulls guard.
Motum has control of Tump's left arm, preventing Tump from doing any damage.
Motum manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tump manages to get himself to full guard.

Motum throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tump's waist but Tump gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Motum off to one side.
Tump throws a lazy right hand but Motum sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
As Tump looks to move away, Motum throws a big counter combo but Tump just gets out of the way.
Motum pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tump lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Motum clinches up against the cage.
Motum effectively controlling the action here.
Motum using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Tump has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Motum is trying to push Tump away but Tump has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Motum lands with a light punch inside.
Tump wants to break the clinch but can't.
Motum looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Tump gets underhooks to prevent Motum's takedown attempt.
Motum is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tump can do to turn this around?

Motum cracks Tump with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Tump from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Scott Motum overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Motum is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Tump is tapping out! This one is all over!
