The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribuvnik throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Time counter with a right hand.

Ribuvnik moves into range and clinches up with Time.
Ribuvnik has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Time goes for a takedown in the clinch but Ribuvnik prevents it.
Time is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Ribuvnik's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ribuvnik tries to clinch up but Time circles away and keeps his distance.
Ribuvnik throws a right and a left that both miss.
Time went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Ribuvnik fails to land with a series of punches.
Time shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ribuvnik defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rickson Time. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ribuvnik closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Time lands a nice shot that snaps Ribuvnik's head back.

Ribuvnik darts in and clinches Time up against the cage.
We've been hearing reports that Time has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Time tries for a takedown. No joy.

Ribuvnik breaks from the clinch.
Hasan Ribuvnik is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Time changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ribuvnik tries to avoid it but Time manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ribuvnik to the ground. Ribuvnik escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Despite the aggression on Ribuvnik's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Time gets tackled into the cage by Ribuvnik. Ribuvnik maintains the clinch.

Ribuvnik breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ribuvnik tries to land a front kick but Time steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

and Time counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Time.

Time fails to land the takedown.
Time shoots for a double leg takedown but Ribuvnik sprawls well. He's pushed Time's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Ribuvnik is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Ribuvnik is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Time defends well.
Time connects with a couple of short punches.

and Time counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Ribuvnik tries to clinch there but Time circles away.
Ribuvnik misses with a few strikes there.
Time fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Time rushes Ribuvnik and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Time is trying to drag Ribuvnik to the mat but Ribuvnik just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Time tries to score a body lock takedown but Ribuvnik shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Time has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Ribuvnik after a bit of a struggle.

Time fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ribuvnik tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ribuvnik fails to land with a series of punches.
Ribuvnik misses with a jab, cross combination.
Time tries to clinch but Ribuvnik is having none of it.
Ribuvnik swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Time closes the distance and pushes Ribuvnik back into the cage.
Ribuvnik lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Time.
Time is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Ribuvnik is defending well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ribuvnik dodges an elbow strike from Time.
Time stalling in the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hasan Ribuvnik dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Ribuvnik connects with a crisp jab.
Ribuvnik throws a hook but Time avoids it easily.

Ribuvnik has taken the fight to the clinch.

Time gets control of Ribuvnik's arms and successfully pulls guard. Time will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Time is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Ribuvnik rolls with it to try and escape but Time cranks on the arm and Ribuvnik is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
