The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bam Bam lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Joey Bam Bam seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dix throws a series of punches but Bam Bam avoids them all with ease.
Bam Bam slips a jab and a cross from Dix.
Bam Bam has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Hardpunch (13 Elite / 1000$ in the buildup to the fight.
Bam Bam scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Bam Bam connects with a solid leg kick.

and Bam Bam cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Dix is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bam Bam sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Bam Bam works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Dix shoots in but Bam Bam avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Dix throws a poor cross that misses

and Bam Bam counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dix can't keep his opponent in guard - Bam Bam advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bam Bam moves nicely into side control.
Dix looks winded!
Dix wants to control but Bam Bam postures up.

Bam Bam has an Americana. Dix didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Bam Bam is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Bam Bam hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
