Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adriano Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josef Ahoinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ahoinen is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: brutal jazz. Josef Ahoinen is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ahoinen shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Silva pinned against the cage. Silva gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Silva throws a nice head kick!

Ahoinen decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Silva wants to improve his position but Ahoinen is controlling well.
Ahoinen slips a nice elbow through Silva's hands, connecting with Silva's forehead.

Ahoinen drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ahoinen jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ahoinen can do anything to dispel that myth.
Silva wants to get up but he can't break Ahoinen's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Ahoinen throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Silva shoots in and bounces Ahoinen off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Ahoinen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Silva's guard.
Ahoinen connects with a couple of short punches.

Ahoinen has gone for a leg lock! Silva slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ahoinen's guard.

Ahoinen wants to control the action but instead Silva gets a body lock and reverses into Ahoinen's guard! Nice work!
