PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bonerz McGee (ranked 496 p4p, 554 weight class) and Bob The Man (ranked 61 p4p, 71 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The Man fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging McGee to the ground. The Man is now in McGee's guard.

McGee is staying active underneath The Man, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The Man has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but McGee can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

McGee tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but The Man swivels and escapes.

McGee fires out a quick counter leg kick but The Man just manages to avoid it.
McGee feints and then cracks The Man's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow The Man down.
A head kick from The Man lands but McGee takes it in his stride.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bonerz McGee will probably get the nod.

The Man escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McGee gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

McGee's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for McGee, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
