Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Egor Mishanenkov (ranked 4314 p4p, 5013 weight class) and Isaiah Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Egor Mishanenkov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Santos clinches up against the cage.

Santos has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Mishanenkov clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Santos looking for the choke but no joy.

Santos looking to finish the fight with a rear naked choke. Mishanenkov is controlling Santos 's left arm and he spins nicely into guard.
Mishanenkov wants to control from the top but Santos keeps moving.

Santos has his foot on Mishanenkov's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mishanenkov works his way back into a safe position though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Santos looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Mishanenkov passes into half guard.
Mishanenkov is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Santos!

Mishanenkov looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Santos prevents Mishanenkov from taking his back.

Mishanenkov has hold of Santos's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Santos manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Santos wants to control but Mishanenkov is having none of it.
Santos is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Mishanenkov is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Santos is in real trouble.

Mishanenkov is looking for the choke from the back position but Santos is controlling his hands well.
Mishanenkov is not going to allow Santos to sit and survive in this position.
Santos rolls, trying to escape but Mishanenkov keeps control of the position.

Mishanenkov is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Santos is defending well though. Mishanenkov let's go of the attempt for now.

Santos looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

Mishanenkov is hanging on to Santos's back as he tries to escape.

Mishanenkov is looking for the choke from the back position but Santos is controlling his hands well.
Santos is trying to stand back up.
Mishanenkov controlling well, preventing Santos from escaping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Santos trying to control the hands but Mishanenkov won't let him.
Santos is trying to get back to his feet but Mishanenkov has full control of the position and if anything, Santos has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Santos is trying to break free.

Mishanenkov is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Santos knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Santos for a finish.

Mishanenkov gets his hands free as Santos looks to control.
Santos might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Mishanenkov haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Mishanenkov is trying to stick to Santos's back but Santos is turning into Mishanenkov. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Mishanenkov's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Santos.

Santos is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Egor Mishanenkov will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action!

Mishanenkov is looking to clinch.
Mishanenkov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Mishanenkov closes the distance and clinches up with Santos, looking for a takedown. Mishanenkov pushes Santos against the cage but Santos circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Santos closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mishanenkov to the mat! Mishanenkov manages to get full guard.
Santos stands and throws Mishanenkov's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Mishanenkov is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Santos is working to tighten his grip on Mishanenkov's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Mishanenkov has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Santos is really squeezing tight and eventually Mishanenkov passes out! Santos breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

After winning the bout, Isaiah Santos thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
