PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Harti Kraus (ranked 6902 p4p, 256 weight class) and Ricky Martins (ranked 7569 p4p, 265 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kraus might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to New World Symphony 4th Movement. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ricky Martins was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Santiago Holmes and David Hoff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martins throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Some bone on bone action there as Martins checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

and Kraus counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Kraus has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Kraus is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Martins is rocked!

Kraus is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Martins is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

After winning the bout, Harti Kraus thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
