The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly misses with a straight right.
Lee throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kelly counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Robert Lee has been cut.
Kelly scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Kelly is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lee.
Kelly misses with a looping right.
Lee waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kelly.
Kelly drops Lee with a beautiful combination! Lee stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kelly is looking for the KO!
Lee is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kelly connects with a body shot that sends Lee's belly button to the back.
Lee is still on wobbly legs! Can Kelly finish him?
Kelly lands a nice looking body shot.
Lee seems to have recovered his senses.
Kelly misses with a body shot.
Lee is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Kelly with a body shot.
Lee looks to land a right hand but Kelly moved out of range.
Kelly is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lee.
Lee now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Lee throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A telegraphed right hand from Lee misses the target.
Lee misses with a hook
and Kelly counters with a stiff right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kelly lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lee circles away quickly and effectively.
Kelly looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Lee looks to score with a jab to the body but Kelly is just out of range.
Lee takes one to the side of the head.
Kelly cracks Lee with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Kelly has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Lee to stand back up!
Kelly jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A punch combination from Kelly misses.
Kelly moves out of range as Lee strikes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kelly throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lee sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Lee looks to throw the jab but Kelly is out of range.
Kelly connects with a right that clearly hurt Lee. He's backed up against the ropes with nowhere to go as Kelly proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Lee collapses and taps out under the pressure!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). David Kelly!
David Kelly spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
