Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jameson Connemara (ranked 2260 p4p, 242 weight class) and Chris Millennium (ranked 1470 p4p, 173 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Millennium looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Connemara attempts a counter takedown but Millennium avoids it well and moves away.
Millennium changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Connemara tries to avoid it but Millennium manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Connemara to the ground. Connemara escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Millennium manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Connemara on his heels. He'll look to pass Connemara's guard now, I'm sure.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Millennium is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Connemara has escaped the position, nice work there.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Millennium swings around for an armbar but Connemara sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Millennium's guard.

Jameson Connemara is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Connemara takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Millennium's coach down at Death Valley Training Facility was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Millennium's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Millennium gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Millennium's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Millennium has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Connemara regains guard immediately.

Millennium stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Connemara swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Chris Millennium showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Connemara has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the ropes to get back to his feet. Millennium has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the ropes.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Millennium is trying to control. Connemara wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The fighters are working up against the ropes. Connemara manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the ropes.

Connemara is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Millennium dives into side control.

Millennium goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Connemara rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Millennium's guard! Nice work there by Connemara!

Millennium has his foot on Connemara's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Connemara works his way back into a safe position though.
Chris Millennium is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Millennium might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Connemara haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jameson Connemara.
