Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Felipe Jorge (ranked 5802 p4p, 5254 weight class) and Jean Cleaude Van Damme (ranked 608 p4p, 576 weight class). Jean Cleaude Van Damme struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Van Damme tries to keep at a distance but Jorge has taken the fight into the clinch.
Jorge has picked Van Damme up - he's going for a ride! Jorge dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Jorge scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Van Damme is staying active underneath Jorge, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Jorge lands a nice short elbow.

Jorge got a little sloppy there for a moment and Van Damme has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jorge has managed to get both his arms back between Van Damme's legs - danger averted.

Jorge seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Jorge looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Van Damme with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Jorge takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Jorge seems to be working for a kimura but Van Damme defends the submission attempt.
Jorge lands a big elbow - Van Damme is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Jorge!
