Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hugh Saber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Kahdi Mandinos!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Darius Henderson and John Mangel.

Saber rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Mandinos counters with a single leg into guard. Saber didn't expect that.

Saber working for submissions but it's allowed Mandinos to get to half guard.
Mandinos looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Mandinos is working for a kimura but Saber is defending it quite comfortably.
Saber is refusing to be controlled, as Mandinos sits in half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Saber is looking to improve his position.

Mandinos is trying to control. Saber wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Mandinos trying to mount his opponent but Saber defends it.
Saber trying to get back to full guard but Mandinos takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Mandinos working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Saber is desperately trying to improve his position but Mandinos has a good base and remains in mount.
Saber is squirming around, avoiding Mandinos's attempts to control the action.
Saber is trying to escape the mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mandinos is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Saber to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Saber shrugs it off.
Saber is looking to get to half guard.

Mandinos looking to isolate an arm here. Saber doesn't see it coming and as Mandinos extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Mandinos!
