Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Gracie (ranked 2319 p4p, 2502 weight class) and Juan Christiano (ranked 316 p4p, 343 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Nick Gracie has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Nick Gracie seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Gracie fails with a takedown attempt.

and Christiano counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Gracie shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Christiano defends it nicely.
Christiano was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nick Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gracie tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Christiano defends well and Gracie ends up having to push Christiano into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Gracie dives in and grabs Christiano's left leg, looking for a takedown. Christiano pushes down on Gracie's head and hops out.

Gracie is breathing heavily.
Christiano cracks Gracie with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Gracie falls to his knees and Christiano doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
