Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonty Egburt (ranked 2753 p4p, 2176 weight class) and Zhang Wu (ranked 336 p4p, 277 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Wu's choice of entrance music: Modest Mouse - The Ground Walks, with Time in a Box. Zhang Wu is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Wu lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Egburt has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Egburt and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Egburt lands a big uppercut and Wu crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Wu looks OK. Egburt waves Wu back to his feet!
Egburt lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Wu head around and knocks him out cold! Egburt hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

Jonty Egburt was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
