Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between AJ Carter (ranked 4073 p4p, 474 weight class) and Ricardo Miles (ranked 6439 p4p, 611 weight class). Ricardo Miles will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ricardo Miles!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Bruno Lombardi and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Miles bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Miles cracks Carter with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Miles scores with a couple of short elbows.
Miles lands some shots froms side control.
Miles scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Carter to see if he's OK.
Miles is putting a hurting on Carter here, landing some big shots from side control.
Carter is letting Miles control him for a moment.
Miles looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Carter is avoiding damage well.

Miles working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Miles shoots in looking for a takedown but Carter manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Miles's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
