Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lance Tiggs (ranked 5398 p4p, 3923 weight class) and Shane Palumbo (ranked 502 p4p, 408 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Tiggs walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Palumbo checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Palumbo shoots in but Tiggs avoids the takedown attempt easily.

That was a close round but I would say that Lance Tiggs will probably get the nod.

Tiggs cracks Palumbo on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Palumbo falls backwards against the cage. Tiggs follows up with more strikes that drop Palumbo to his knees. Tiggs keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Palumbo! This one is all over!
