Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Regulus Westmore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class).

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez just misses with a punch to the body.
Westmore walks into a straight right hand from Sanchez.
Sanchez slaps away a takedown attempt from Westmore, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Westmore feints and as Sanchez raises his hands in defense, Westmore changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Westmore won't allow Sanchez to sweep him here.
Westmore wants to control from the top but Sanchez keeps moving.
Sanchez is adopting a defensive guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Westmore postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Sanchez is looking to sweep but instead, Westmore has passed into half guard.
Westmore tries to stand but can't do so whilst Sanchez controls his leg.
Westmore looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Sanchez wants to control but Westmore is keeping busy and won't allow it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Westmore thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sanchez's head.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Sanchez connects with a body shot that sends Westmore's belly button to the back.

Westmore fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Sanchez to the ground. Westmore is now in Sanchez's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Westmore stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Sanchez tries to clinch but Westmore is having none of it.
Westmore keeps the fight on the outside.

Sanchez stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sanchez wants it to stay on the feet.
Westmore misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Westmore misses with a body shot.
A little feinted left hand from Sanchez on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Sanchez cracks Westmore with a right hand to the side of the head.
Westmore throws out a leg kick but Sanchez moves out of range and Westmore only half commits.
Regulus Westmore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Westmore.
Samuel Sanchez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Regulus Westmore.
Westmore throws a head kick that misses.
Westmore connects with a leg kick. Sanchez looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Sanchez fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Westmore looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Sanchez lunges at Westmore with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Westmore's hand.
Sanchez fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Westmore is rocked!

Westmore leaves his chin hanging out and Sanchez seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Westmore crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
