Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kentrell Turner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Davig Singh!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Roger Salmon and Ryoma Takatsuka.

Singh takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Turner shoots in and drives through. Singh sprawls well.
Turner throws a series of punches but Singh moves out of range.
Turner doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Singh counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A looping hook to the body misses from Turner. Singh does a little dance to reset his feet.
Singh misses with a takedown attempt - Turner sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Turner wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

My spies in Cozad MMA Montreal inform me that Singh has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Singh closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Turner did well to prevent Singh getting side control.
Turner tries to kick Singh off in order to stand up. Singh Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Davig Singh will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Turner throws a lazy right hand but Singh sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Singh shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Turner but Turner pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kentrell Turner is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Singh gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Turner.
Singh shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Turner as he jumps to the side.

and Turner counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Singh fails with an attempt to clinch.

It looks like Davig Singh has been cut.
Singh dives in for a single leg takedown but Turner sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Singh fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Turner avoids it really well and circles away.

Turner is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Singh can do to turn this around?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Horrible takedown attempt by Singh or perhaps it was just good defense by Turner, which made it look bad.

Turner will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
