Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aiden Leblanc (ranked 4862 p4p, 4835 weight class) and Craig Mcmuffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Aiden Leblanc!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Craig Mcmuffin!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.





The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Leblanc closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Mcmuffin quickly recovers to half guard.
Mcmuffin controlling the position for now.

Leblanc is trying to work for a kimura but Mcmuffin is defending well.
Leblanc thows a huge punch but Mcmuffin dodges it nicely.
Leblanc is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Leblanc is looking to take a break and control but Mcmuffin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Leblanc in particular looking to stall.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Leblanc has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Mcmuffin is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Leblanc.

Leblanc is trying to control Mcmuffin's posture but Mcmuffin avoids it.
Leblanc is pushing Mcmuffin's head away, looking to escape. Mcmuffin manages to hold on to the position though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Leblanc tries to bench press Mcmuffin off him but Mcmuffin keeps the position.
You can see the frustration on Leblanc's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Mcmuffin fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Leblanc sprawls well initially but Mcmuffin persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Craig Mcmuffin will probably get the nod.

Mcmuffin shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Leblanc has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mcmuffin is working away from the top position though.
Leblanc tries to roll over but Mcmuffin keeps him under control.
Craig Mcmuffin has got the better of the ground game so far.
Leblanc is trying to control but can't.

Mcmuffin closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Leblanc seems a little lost for a moment, as Mcmuffin dominates the positioning.
Leblanc is pushing Mcmuffin's head away, looking to escape. Mcmuffin manages to hold on to the position though.

Leblanc throws a strike but Mcmuffin rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Leblanc has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mcmuffin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Leblanc on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Leblanc tries to get out of the position.
Mcmuffin's corner is telling him to maintain position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Leblanc bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Leblanc seems to be working for a kimura but Mcmuffin defends the submission attempt.
Leblanc is looking to stall here but Mcmuffin recovers full guard.
Craig Mcmuffin is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Mcmuffin pulls Leblanc in close to his closed guard and prevents Leblanc from doing any damage or advancing position.
Let's hope that Mcmuffin has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Mcmuffin tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Mcmuffin pulls Leblanc in close to his closed guard and prevents Leblanc from doing any damage or advancing position.

Leblanc drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Mcmuffin dives on top into guard.

I would just about give that final round to Craig Mcmuffin.
I've got Mcmuffin winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
