Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Able Nightroad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mahmoud Gameel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nightroad comes to the cage accompanied by Vicarious. Mahmoud Gameel has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Able Nightroad's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Nightroad looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gameel tries to clinch up
and Nightroad counters with an outside leg kick.
Gameel tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Gameel stuffs the takedown attempt from Nightroad. Nightroad gets slowly back to his feet.
Nightroad throws a head kick that Gameel semi-blocks.

Nightroad escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gameel gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Nightroad has his foot on Gameel's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gameel works his way back into a safe position though.
Nightroad is looking to stand up but Gameel isn't so interested in that idea.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Gameel wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nightroad keeps working.
Nightroad could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Nightroad counters with a shoot takedown. Gameel fights it but they end up in guard.
Nightroad wants to control from the top but Gameel keeps moving.
Nightroad stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gameel swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Gameel has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Nightroad is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Gameel.

Nightroad is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Gameel's shoulder. That is not cool.
Nightroad cracks Gameel with a big right hand but Gameel just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Gameel tries to buck Nightroad off but Nightroad is having none of it.

Gameel takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Nightroad wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gameel keeps working.
Nightroad sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Gameel is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Nightroad drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Nightroad has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Nightroad tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Nightroad has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Able Nightroad overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Nightroad drops back looking for a leg! Gameel is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gameel manages to kick Nightroad off! Nightroad jumps back into Gameel's guard.
Nightroad is pushing down on Gameel's leg trying to pass to half guard. Gameel is fighting to maintain full guard but Nightroad has managed to sneak the leg through.
