Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Blackout Mane (ranked 7650 p4p, 25557 weight class) and Parlay Banks (ranked 716 p4p, 788 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Parlay Banks!

Mane looks to land a right hand but Banks moved out of range.
Nice takedown defense from Mane. No joy for Banks on that attempt.

A frustrated look appears on Mane's face as he tries to break the clinch.

That's time! Mane's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Mane shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Banks pinned against the cage. Banks gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Mane fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Mane takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Mane looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Mane sets himself, and Banks steps forward looking for the clinch! Mane avoids it this time.
Parlay Banks is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Banks closes the distance but Mane moves to the side
and Mane counters with a left to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
No luck for Banks with that takedown attempt.
Mane shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Banks as he avoids it easily.

Mane throws out a loose jab but Banks uses good head movement to avoid it.

Banks tries to clinch but Mane moves out of range.
Banks wants to clinch but Mane slips to the side
and Mane connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Banks.
Banks tries to clinch up but Mane circles away and keeps his distance.
Banks uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mane.

Mane looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Banks wants to get back to his feet.

Mane is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Banks doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mane.
Mane is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Mane moves into full mount! Banks won't be happy about that!
You get the feeling that Banks really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mane has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Banks is forced to tap!
