Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brutalis Rhino (ranked 6694 p4p, 6291 weight class) and David Carter (ranked 661 p4p, 643 weight class). Brutalis Rhino has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brutalis Rhino!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Carter!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Konstantin Menshow and Fedor Mirinova.

A punch combination from Carter misses.
Rhino takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Rhino looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Carter works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Rhino scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
No joy there for Carter, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Rhino drives through with a takedown into guard.
Carter wants to get back to his feet but Rhino is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Rhino really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Carter wriggles free and stands up.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rhino scores with a sloppy right hand. Carter should have avoided that one.
Carter gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Carter fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Carter connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Rhino momentarily.
Rhino moves away from the strike by Carter.

Rhino manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Carter on his heels. He'll look to pass Carter's guard now, I'm sure.
Rhino wants to control from the top but Carter keeps moving.

Rhino is really struggling to control Carter but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Rhino slips nicely into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Carter looks like he's trying to stand up.
Carter is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Rhino throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Rhino is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Carter doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Rhino.

Carter is defending against the submission attempts here by Rhino.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Carter wants to get back to his feet.

Rhino is working for a kimura but Carter is defending it quite comfortably.

Rhino is taking a breather. Carter says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Carter is refusing to be controlled, as Rhino sits in half guard.

Carter manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Rhino keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Rhino wants to break free but Carter has control.

Carter breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Rhino feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Carters jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Carter keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Rhino's efforts to push away.

Rhino wants to break the clinch but can't.
Carter prevents Rhino from breaking the clinch.
Rhino looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Carter escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Carter throws a nice looking combination but Rhino bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Rhino shoots in looking for a takedown but Carter manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rhino's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Rhino scores with a one two! Carter had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

It looks like David Carter has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rhino lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Carter takes one on the button.
Rhino looks to land a combination but Carter avoids it well.
Carter walks into a straight right hand from Rhino.
Carter lands a really nice looking cross but Rhino seems unphased.
Rhino lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Rhino is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Carter tries to clinch but Rhino moves out of range.
Rhino uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Nice jab there from Rhino.

Carter is rocked!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brutalis Rhino dominated that round.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Carter misses with a few strikes there.

Carter forces Rhino back against the cage and clinches.
Rhino wants to break free but Carter has control.

Carter breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Rhino digs a good hook to Carter's body.
Rhino connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Brutalis Rhino is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Rhino takes one on the button.
Carter is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Rhino.
Carter is still on wobbly legs! Can Rhino finish him?

Carter gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rhino loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Rhino won't allow Carter to get back to his feet.
Rhino is standing up over Carter. Carter looks to escape but Rhino dives into side control.

Rhino is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Carter is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Rhino moves into full mount!

Rhino wants to finish this one by submission but Carter is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Rhino.
Carter seems to have recovered his senses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Carter bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Rhino is looking to stand up but Carter isn't so interested in that idea.

Rhino has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Carter doesn't defend quickly enough and Rhino has managed to lock this one up! Can Carter escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Rhino on a fantastic submission victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Brutalis Rhino!
