Bakocevic shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Verreira as he jumps to the side.
Bakocevic takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Bakocevic with a lazy takedown attempt
and Bakocevic takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Nice takedown defense from Verreira. No joy for Bakocevic on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Veljko Bakocevic. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Verreira bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

and Verreira counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Verreira bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Bakocevic's head.
Verreira drops Bakocevic with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Bakocevic! Verreira dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
