Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Troy Bailey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Richard Stone!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, David Hoff and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Bailey defending well as Stone loads up on a big left hand.
Bailey appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Stone connects with a single shot there.
Stone stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
A left lands for Stone.
Bailey takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bailey moves out of range of the strikes.

Stone thows a left - swing and a miss!
Bailey drops down looking for a counter takedown but Stone sprawls and moves away.
A punch lands to the side of Bailey 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Stone looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Stone connects with a nice looking jab.

Stone moves into the clinch.
Bailey wants to take the fight to the mat but Stone manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
A nice left hand lands by Stone.
Bailey drops down looking for an ankle pick but Stone pulls his leg out and moves away.

Stone connects with a body shot.
Richard Stone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stone's corner calls for a 1-2. Stone obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
A left lands for Stone.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stone connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Stone scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bailey doesn't seem bothered though.
Stone connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Bailey's hands.

Bailey takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Bailey tries to counter with a takedown but Stone is quick to defend against it.

Stone bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Bailey's head backwards.
Stone throws a body shot but no joy.

Stone is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Bailey had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Good exchange - Stone coming out on top.

Stone fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bailey looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Stone bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Stone lands a nice shot that snaps Bailey's head back.
Stone has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Bailey is rocked!
Bailey looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Oh Bailey is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stone fails in his attempt to clinch.
Bailey seems to have got his legs back now.
Nice jab there from Stone.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Bailey gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Bailey goes for a double leg but Stone avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Stone continues to drive forward.
Stone scores with the left hand. Bailey knows he should have avoided that one.
Bailey has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Stone finds it's way round the side to connect with Bailey's head.
Stone lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Stone throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bailey.
Bailey drops down looking for a counter takedown but Stone sprawls and moves away.

Bailey on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Stone fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Bailey on the side of the head.
Stone connects with a single shot there.
A combination from Stone does no damage.
Bailey drops down looking for a counter takedown but Stone sprawls and moves away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Richard Stone showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Bailey walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Stone throws a hook to the side of Bailey's head but Bailey sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Stone connects with the punch.
A jab from Stone finds it's way through Bailey's defenses.

Stone swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Bailey.

Stone gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Bailey blocks an uppercut.
Bailey wants to take the fight to the mat but Stone manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Stone is fighting off a takedown attempt but Bailey is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Stone to the mat. Stone regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
