The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Thiago Cunha and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lion bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Lion is looking to clinch but Tynin is avoiding it.
Lion looks to land a body kick but Tynin moved away.
Lion uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tynin.
Lion pushes Tynin up against the cage in a clinch.
Lion pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Tynin goes for a takedown attempt but Lion pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Lion closes the distance and clinches.
Tynin can't break the clinch.
Tynin has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Lion uses from the top position.
Lion forces his way into half guard.
Lion tries to stand and escape but Tynin is controlling the position.
Tynin is looking for a sweep. Lion is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Lion wants to work for an arm triangle but Tynin is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Lion is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
