Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hjalmar Klason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Anselmo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Klason's entrance music is (Hed) Pe - Raise Hell. A fine choice. Phil Anselmo is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Klason or perhaps it was just good defense by Anselmo which made him look bad.

Klason has closed the distance and engaged Anselmo in a clinch.
Klason is trying to break free.

Klason is trying to trip Anselmo. He has hold of a leg but Anselmo is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Klason persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Klason tries to free his leg and advance position but Anselmo is retaining full guard.
Anselmo wants to stand but Klason is controlling the position.
Klason thows a big elbow that misses.

Hjalmar Klason seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Klason shoots in and drives through. Anselmo sprawls well.
Anselmo fails with the takedown

and Klason decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Anselmo's guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Anselmo has one foot on Klason's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Anselmo looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Anselmo lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Anselmo.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Anselmo throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Still in half guard, Klason seems content to control.

Anselmo throws a looping overhand right but Klason ducks down to avoid it.

and Anselmo counters with a good low kick that Klason was not able to check.
Klason misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hjalmar Klason is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Klason tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Anselmo swivels and escapes.
Klason fails to land with a series of punches.
Klason tries to clinch there but Anselmo circles away.

and Klason counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Klason.

Klason breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Klason throws a combination that misses
and Anselmo counters with a low kick, right behind Klason 's knee.
Anselmo swats away the attempt to clinch by Klason.
A cross from Klason lands.

Anselmo is rocked!
Klason cracks Anselmo with a left hook right on the temple and Anselmo goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Klason lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Anselmo is OK!
