Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Crisis Smoove (ranked 6642 p4p, 5662 weight class) and Nyah Hirst (ranked 636 p4p, 599 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Smoove takes one to the side of the head.
Smoove looks to land a combination but Hirst avoids it well.
Smoove throws a lazy head kick
and Hirst counters with a straight right hand.
Smoove falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hirst counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Hirst dodges the punch combination from Smoove.
Hirst swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Hirst blocks a low kick nicely.
Smoove throws a body kick that misses
and Hirst counters with a stiff right hand.
A shot to the body from Smoove misses
and Hirst counters with a nice uppercut.
Some wild striking there from Smoove.

and Hirst counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Smoove thinking.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Smoove tries to move into range but Hirst moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Hirst lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Smoove throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Hirst to counter with a crisp jab.
Smoove throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Hirst counters with a slapping leg kick.
Smoove is breathing heavily.

Hirst scores with a nice strike.
Smoove misses with a kick to the body
and Hirst counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hirst lands a right hook to the body.
Hirst fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hirst drops Smoove with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Smoove looks back up at him and smiles so Hirst waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Smoove is rocked!
It looks like Crisis Smoove has been cut.
Hirst lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Oh Smoove is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hirst connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Smoove's hands.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hirst throws a leg kick which misses Smoove's front leg but catches the back leg as Smoove tries to avoid it.
Smoove seems to have got his legs back now.
Hirst drops Smoove with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Smoove looks back up at him and smiles so Hirst waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Hirst lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Smoove falls backwards - clearly groggy! Hirst dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nyah Hirst!
