Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Don Albany (ranked 4966 p4p, 4831 weight class) and Jesse Wylde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Albany shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Wylde as he jumps to the side.
Albany shoots in looking for a takedown. Wylde tries to sprawl out of it but Albany keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wylde manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Albany tries to pull guard but Wylde holds him up against the cage and eventually Albany drops back down to his feet.

Albany has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Wylde is trying to keep an underhook but Albany manages to get the takedown into half guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Don Albany will probably get the nod.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wylde can do anything to dispel that myth.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Wylde holds on and takes a little breather.
Albany stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wylde swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Don Albany overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Wylde is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Well, if Wylde is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Jesse Wylde showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Albany dives in for a single leg takedown but Wylde sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Jesse Wylde comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Wylde has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
