Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steven Seagal (ranked 4546 p4p, 3241 weight class) and John Smith (ranked 167 p4p, 56 weight class). Seagal comes to the cage accompanied by Girl It's Alright. On his way into the cage it seems that Steven Seagal has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Steven Seagal seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Smith bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Seagal's head backwards.

It looks like Steven Seagal has been cut.
Smith misses with a few strikes there.
Seagal closes the distance looking to clinch
letting Smith counter with a right hand.
A left and a right from Smith both land. Nice combination.
Seagal moves in looking to clinch but Smith pushes him off.
Seagal fails with an attempt to clinch.

Seagal rushes Smith and presses him up against the cage.
Smith creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Seagal throws a punch but it's blocked by Smith.
Smith manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Smith looks to throw an elbow but misses.

A head punch on the inside from Smith fails to land.
Smith misses with a hook from the clinch.
Seagal goes for a takedown attempt but Smith pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Seagal avoids the body shot from Smith.
Seagal half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Smith lands a jab to the head.

Steven Seagal's cut is getting worse.
Seagal fails in his attempt to clinch.
A little jabbing left from Smith on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Smith throws a shot to the body.
Seagal tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Smith cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Seagal tries to clinch but Smith moves away
enabling Smith to counter with a crisp jab.

Steven Seagal's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Smith swats away the attempt to clinch by Seagal.
It seemed like Smith was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Smith cracks Seagal with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Seagal tries to clinch but Smith moves away
and Smith counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Seagal takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Jeez, Steven Seagal's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
