Silva shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Silva showed some decent athleticism there.
Silva is looking to advance position but Lewis won't allow it.
Silva is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lewis is just riding it out for now. Silva eventually gives up the hold.
Lewis is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Silva scores with a couple of nice shots.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silva tries to pass the half guard into mount. Lewis knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Silva looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Silva quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Silva but it's paid off an Lewis is forced to tap! Nice work by Silva.
