Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Teddy Roads (ranked 3774 p4p, 7853 weight class) and James Tuati (ranked 455 p4p, 674 weight class). Tuati has chosen Ka Mate as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

Tuati feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Roadss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Roads doesn't manage to clinch there - Tuati circles away.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Roads seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Tuati pulls Roads in close to his closed guard and prevents Roads from doing any damage or advancing position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Roads has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tuati is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
