Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Willis (ranked 4600 p4p, 3382 weight class) and Ken Barlow (ranked 555 p4p, 432 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Willis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ken Barlow!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Ben Watson and Francis DeMontford.

Barlow clinches up against the cage.
Barlow tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Barlow gets a trip takedown into half guard.

Barlow looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Willis is looking for a sweep. Barlow is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Willis is staying active underneath Barlow, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Barlow sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Willis defending well though.

Barlow slips a nice elbow through Willis's hands, connecting with Willis's forehead.

Willis is looking to control Barlow's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Willis avoid being mounted?

Barlow is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Willis is pressing down on Barlow's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Barlow shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Willis sprawls well. Willis wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Barlow gets slowly back to his feet.

Barlow shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Willis manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Willis is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Barlow drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Willis dives on top into guard.

Barlow has his foot on Willis's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Willis works his way back into a safe position though.
Barlow wants to improve his position but instead Willis has moved into half guard.

Barlow is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Willis pulls his head out easily.

Willis rushes Barlow and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Barlow is looking to stand back up but Willis counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Barlow.
Willis seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Barlow does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Barlow is on top in guard.

Barlow drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Willis manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Barlow has Willis in his guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Barlow holds on and takes a little breather.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Barlow wants to sweep here but Willis controlling him for the moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Barlow misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Barlow looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

That was a close second round but I would say that John Willis will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Willis gets caught napping as Barlow dives in and scores a takedown. Willis manages to retain guard.
Willis tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Barlow is looking to work some ground and pound but Willis has wrist control.
Willis is controlling Barlow's posture.
Willis manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Barlow manages to get himself to full guard.

Willis is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
