Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Reginald Cavendish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reginald Cavendish could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Michael James's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Reginald Cavendish!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Michael James!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Kenichi Hosakawa and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cavendish with a nice cross.


It looks like Michael James has been cut.
James avoids the head kick by Cavendish.

James fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Cavendish sprawls well initially but James persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

James is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
