Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyler Samuels (ranked 5384 p4p, 4570 weight class) and John Leo (ranked 561 p4p, 515 weight class). John Leo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kyler Samuels!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Leo!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.

Samuels just misses with a punch to the body.
Leo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Samuels changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Leo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Samuels has knee on belly momentarily but Leo bucks him off and regains half guard.
Leo wants to get back to his feet.
Samuels throws a strike but Leo avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Samuels's corner is telling him to maintain position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Samuels stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Leo swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Leo has momentary wrist control but Samuels slips an elbow through the middle.

Samuels fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Leo sprawls well initially but Samuels persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Samuels in particular looking to stall.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Samuels has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Leo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Leo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Samuels circles away quickly and effectively.
Leo stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
