The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robinson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
David closes the distance and clinches up with Robinson, looking for a takedown. David pushes Robinson against the cage but Robinson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

David darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
David is pressing down on Robinson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Robinson is holding on for now.
David controlling the action here.
David wants to pass to mount but Robinson is defending the position.
David winds up and cracks Robinson with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

David is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
David looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Robinson wants to get back to full guard.
Robinson tries to kick David off but David keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
David not doing much here.
Robinson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with David. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
David moves nicely into side control.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Robinson managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by David.

Robinson is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but David has just dragged him back down to the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Robinson wants to get back to his feet but David drags him back down.
David wants to lay and pray for a moment but Robinson keeps working.
David looks up at the clock and then as Robinson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, David smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
David misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

David has an Americana. Robinson didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! David is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if David hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
