Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anders Mousasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luther Rennis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mousasi comes into the arena with Bassie en Adriaan blaring out of the sound system. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rennis looks to score with a jab to the body but Mousasi is just out of range.

Rennis shoots in and bounces Mousasi off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Rennis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mousasi swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Rennis won't allow Mousasi to sweep him here.
Rennis thows a big elbow that misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rennis shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mousasi's guard.

Rennis throws and elbow that misses. Mousasi uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Rennis's guard. Nice move by Mousasi!

Rennis feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Mousasi is sitting in close to Rennis's body. Rennis has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Mousasi is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Mousasi is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Rennis.
