The fight stays on the outside here - Walker looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
We've been told by Walker's head coaches at Island Sparring that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Tiernan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Walker was well out of range. Poor timing from Tiernan.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It seemed like Tiernan was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Tiernan goes for a double leg but Walker avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Walker continues to drive forward.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Walker has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Tiernan is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Walker is defending well though. Tiernan let's go of the attempt for now.

A close round but Peter Tiernan will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
