Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Mack (ranked 2072 p4p, 6899 weight class) and Kiso Akinaga (ranked 230 p4p, 539 weight class). Akinaga comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The HU - Wolf Totem kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

Akinaga throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Akinaga misses with a few strikes there.
Mack tried to counter with a leg kick but Akinaga avoided it.
Mack slips a jab and a cross from Akinaga.
Mack quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Kiso Akinaga seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A punch combination from Akinaga misses.
Mack takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

A jab-cross combination lands for Akinaga and sends Mack crashing to the mat! Akinaga follows him down to the mat - Mack regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

It looks like Frank Mack has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Akinaga not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Akinaga wants to pass to mount but Mack is defending the position.
Mack tries to roll over but Akinaga keeps him under control.
Akinaga looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mack slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Akinaga throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Akinaga is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Akinaga trying to control the position from guard on top but Mack is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Mack working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Akinaga doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Mack is tightening it up a little... Akinaga has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Akinaga reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Akinaga taps out! Nice BJJ there by Mack!
