Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Canseco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Shane Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jose Canseco !
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Canseco tries for a takedown but Jackson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Canseco gets caught flat footed, as Jackson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Canseco is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Jackson is in close to Canseco 's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Canseco escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jackson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Jackson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jackson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Jackson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Canseco throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

That was a close second round but I would say that Shane Jackson will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

I would just about give that final round to Jose Canseco .
I think Canseco has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
