We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Davis moves into range and clinches up with Kid.
Davis tries to pull guard but Kid forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Kid is trying to pull guard but Davis turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Davis has had enough of the clinch but Kid keeps him there for the moment.

Davis has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kid uses from the top position.

Kid stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Davis shoots for a takedown but Kid saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Kid raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.

Davis breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kid tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kid is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kid ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kid no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Kid is pulling down on Davis's head to control his posture.

Kid looking for a triangle here. Davis is fighting it but it looks tight! Kid pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Davis is tapping out - this one is all over!
